Signing up for programs or events can sometimes feel overwhelming. Fast Track is designed to make registration simpler and less stressful. It works like a wishlist, allowing you to save programs in advance and complete required details before registration opens.
This guide explains how to use Fast Track so you are prepared and ready on registration day.
Step 1: Add Programs to Your Fast Track List
Follow these steps to save programs you are interested in:
Browse the list of available programs or events.
Find a program you want to register for.
Select the Fast Track icon next to the program to add it to your Fast Track list.
Once added, the program will remain saved so you can easily return to it later.
As you add programs, you'll have the opportunity to fill out relevant information such as selecting the participant (if applicable) and completing any eligibility requirements or form questions in advance.
Pro Tip: Don't forget to bookmark your Fast Track page for easy access before registration day!
Step 2: Prepare for Registration Day
As registration day gets closer, review your Fast Track list to make sure everything is ready.
Review Your Fast Track List
Open your Fast Track list and confirm that all saved programs are still correct.
Remove any programs you no longer plan to register for.
If anything has changed or you want to make modifications to your Fast Tracked items, click on the edit option for each Fast Tracked section:

Reviewing your Payment Plan Preferences
Some programs offer payment plans for registering--if you'd selected a payment plan at the time you Fast Tracked the section, you can adjust it before actually checking out on registration day. Click on the icon next to the payment section.
And then adjust or confirm any changes to your selected payment plan:
Once confirmed, you're ready for registration day!
Add or Change Participants
If you need to add or switch participants, you can do this at any time before registration opens.
To update a participant:
Go to the program or class page.
Add the new participant from your household to Fast Track.
Remove the previous program or participant from your Fast Track list if it is no longer needed.
These updates help ensure your information is accurate on registration day.
Step 3: Register on the Big Day
On registration day, sign in to your account and go to your Fast Track list, located at: https://www.rec.us/app/fast-track
You can access Fast Track at any time by selecting it from the menu in the top-right corner of your screen.
From there, follow the on-screen instructions to complete your registration quickly and smoothly.
When the registration period opens, go to your Fast Track list and select Add to Cart for each program you want to register for.
After you add all selected programs to your cart, the system will temporarily hold them for you while you complete the checkout process. You have 10 minutes to complete checkout.
Once your selected sections are added to your cart, click the top header checkout bar to checkout and pay!
Then confirm your payment and complete your purchase--you're booked!
Once you complete your purchase you'll get an email confirming your transaction, and a receipt of all purchased items. You can also review all your upcoming classes/sections in your Rec account, located at: https://www.rec.us/app/schedule
If a program becomes unavailable, you will have the option to join the waitlist for that program.
