If a student doesn’t see an instant book slot available that works well for them they can request another time from an instructor. When a student sends you a request you’ll receive both a text and email notification.
You can respond to the request by:
Clicking the link in the text
Clicking the button in the email
Going to your instructor profile to view all pending requests
To get to your instructor profile and view all pending requests, click on the Lessons button on the top right of your screen
Your profile will show all completed or pending requests. You can choose to create a slot for the student, or to deny the request. If the initially proposed time does not work, we recommend contacting the student first to propose an alternative time before denying the request. If there is no time and place that works feel free to deny the request!
Once you click Create Slot you will be able to set up a lesson slot just as you would for instant book slots.
When you click Create Lesson Slot the student will automatically be notified you’ve created the slot and be sent the link to book the lesson. You can also send the newly created slot to the student by clicking Copy Booking Link to Keyboard and then pasting the link into a text or email.
If you need to get to the booking link later to share with the customer, scroll down to “my schedule” on the instructor profile page and filter for your scheduled lessons. If you click on the link symbol on the right side, it will copy the link that you can then paste in a text or email to the student. The student can then use the link to book and confirm your lesson slot.
Note: until a student books for and confirms the lesson it is not confirmed. Please make sure the student completes the lesson booking before the lesson.
