While most Rec instructors go through the basic Checkr criminal background check, some Rec organizations and programs require a more comprehensive fingerprint check. If you are asked to complete a fingerprint check please take the following steps:

Rec will send you a pre-filled form with the Rec employer information filled out

Find the Live Scan provider location nearest to you <a href="https://oag.ca.gov/fingerprints/locations" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>

Go to the location to complete the Live Scan

Applicants must present valid photo identification to the Live Scan Operator. Expired identification cards will not be accepted

Email a receipt from your Live Scan to <a href="https://www.notion.so/rec-team/instructors@rec.us" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">instructors@rec.us</a> and we will reimburse you for the expense on your next instructor payout
