Welcome! Glenview Park District has partnered with Rec to power online registration, memberships, passes, and facility reservations—one place to find and sign up for programs, manage your household, and pay securely from your phone, tablet, or computer. New to Rec? Here are answers to the questions we hear most.
Getting started
How do I create an account?
Go to Glenview Park District’s Rec page (opens in a new tab), select Sign Up, and follow the prompts to create your household account. The “Setting Up Your Account and Adding Household Members” guide walks through it step by step.
What information do I need to sign up?
An email address and some basic contact and address information. Your address is used to check residency so you get accurate resident pricing—more on that below.
I started signing up but my browser closed before I finished. Do I have to start over?
No. Return to Glenview Park District’s Rec page (opens in a new tab), select Log In, and continue with the same email address you started with.
Your household account
Can I create one account for my whole family?
Yes. Rec uses a single household account. Add each family member as a household member, then register any of them for programs and manage their passes and reservations from the same place.
How do I add household members?
From your profile, open All Members and select Add Household Member. You can add or update members at any time. Full steps are in the “Setting Up Your Account and Adding Household Members” guide.
How does Rec know whether I'm a Glenview Park District resident?
Rec checks your address against Glenview Park District's boundaries and applies a residency designation to your profile, which helps make sure you get accurate resident pricing. If your residency looks wrong, contact Glenview Park District—they set residency and rates.
Finding and registering for programs
How do I find and register for a program?
Browse or search programs on Glenview Park District’s Rec page (opens in a new tab), choose the household member, complete any required forms, add to cart, and check out. See the “Signing Up for a Program or Activity” guide for details.
Can I get ready before registration day?
Yes—that's what Fast Track is for. Save the programs you're interested in ahead of time and complete forms, waivers, and eligibility questions in advance. When registration opens, you just add them to your cart and check out. See the “Fast Track and Pre-Registration” guide.
Can I see whether a program has openings before I register?
Yes. Rec shows real-time availability and waitlist information as you browse.
Payment and checkout
What payment methods can I use?
Rec supports major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. You can also save a payment method to your account for faster checkout.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Rec's integrated payment processing is PCI-DSS compliant.
Will I get a confirmation after I register?
Yes. You'll receive a receipt after checkout, and you can view your registrations and receipts any time in your account.
Logging in and passwords
How do I log in?
On Glenview Park District’s Rec page (opens in a new tab), select Log In and choose to log in with your email. Rec sends a secure sign-in link to your inbox—no password required.
I forgot my password. Can I reset it?
Absolutely. Use the email sign-in link to get into your account, then set a new password from your profile. Full steps are in the “Logging In and Resetting Your Password” guide.

Who do I contact if I need help?
For anything about how the Rec platform works—signing up, logging in, your household, registration, or payments—Rec support can help through the Help option in your account. I'm all signed up—now what?
