Welcome aboard! Now that you've created your Glenview Park District account on Rec, let's set up your household. Adding a household member takes less than a minute.

Go to Glenview Park District’s Rec page (opens in a new tab) and log in. Account navigation has been redesigned, so your profile, memberships, payments, and other account areas each have their own destination—open your profile from your account navigation, then use the option to add a household member. On a phone, your household members appear as a swipeable carousel of member cards.

Fill in as much as you can—name, birthdate, and gender. These matter because some programs have age or gender eligibility rules. Profile information is now split across separate edit flows, so you can fill in each section on its own, including emergency contacts. If the member has their own email or phone number, add it so they get their own registration notifications. For anyone under 18, you can skip email and phone, and notifications will come to you.

Select create to save the profile, and repeat for each household member. When you register for a program, court, or reservation, you'll be able to choose any member of your household.

Need to change something? Return to your profile, find the household member, and select the edit (pencil) option to update their basic information.

Household owners can now update more on their own, including your address, residencies, and notification preferences, and there's an entry point for deleting your account. If you need to remove a household member, or there's still something you can't edit yourself, reach out to Rec support and we can help.

Note: your residency status and resident or non-resident rates are set by Glenview Park District. If your residency looks wrong, first check the address and residency information in your own profile and update it if it's out of date. If it still looks wrong after that, contact Glenview Park District directly.
