We are often asked “If I become a Rec instructor do I have to teach exclusively on the Rec platform?”

We are not asking instructors to be exclusive to Rec. At launch we'll be slowly ramping up available time slots for classes and private lessons, so we expect instructors to fill the rest of their time outside of those slots at other courts.

Our hope is long term we will have enough court supply and provide such a good experience that instructors choose to do a lot of their classes and lessons on Rec courts. But we know it will take some time to get there.

Similarly, Rec does not give any instructors exclusive access to any specific facility. Facilities will almost always have multiple instructors teaching the same sports or activities to provide users with a variety of teaching styles, topics, and price points.
