Apex Park and Recreation District and Rec - Setting Up Your New Account (Adding your Household Members)

Got registered? Let's start creating your household!

Written by Loris Lamarque

Welcome back! Now that you've created your new Rec & Apex PRD account, it's time to set up your household account. If you've come from the welcome invitation, you might already have your account and all household members set up. But sometimes there might be a missing household member, or someone's new to the family/household and you need to make an adjustment. Let's dive into how to add members to your household, it takes less than 1 minute to add a new household member.

Step 1: Head to your Rec Profile

To get started adding new household members, open your account menu and go to My Profiles. From there you can add a new household member, and switch between the members already on your account.

Already partway through registering when you realize a child or family member is missing? You don't have to leave the flow — you can add the household member from inside the registration window, and they'll be selected for you automatically. That's usually the quickest route.

Step 2: Add Your Household Member(s)

Complete as much information as you have about your household member, including name, birthdate, gender (important for registering for programs that might have age or gender eligibility restrictions).

Some organizations require specific profile details — and sometimes a profile photo — before you can complete a membership, pass or program checkout, so it's worth filling in as much as you can now. If something required is missing, you'll see an alert during registration telling you what still needs to be added.

If the household member has their own email address and/or phone number, make sure to enter it so they receive their own email and/or SMS notifications for program registrations. If they are under 18, then you can skip the email and phone section, and you'll receive notifications on your email and phone number for their registrations.

When you're done, click to create their profile. Continue for as many other household members as you have on your account. Then, when you want to register a user for a program, court or facility reservation, you'll be able to choose any of the members on your household account.

Step 3: Editing Household Profiles

If you've already created a household profile and need to edit information, open your account menu and go to My Profiles.

Switch to the member you want to update — the household owner is marked with a badge — and open their profile to edit it. On a phone, the member profile cards are a swipeable carousel, so swipe across to find the member you need.

Edit member with pencil icon to edit existing house information.

You can update most things yourself: contact information, birthday, gender, emergency contacts, authorized pickups, address and residencies, and notification preferences each have their own edit option in the profile areas. If there's something you can't change from your account, just reach out to our support team and we can help.

If you need to delete or remove a household account (kids move out eventually!) just reach out to our support team.
