If you have received (or purchased) a Gift Card through Rec, or received a Scholarship, there's a quick way to redeem it, let's learn how!
Gift Cards
To redeem a gift card, you might have received an email like the one below, either after purchasing a gift card, or being forwarded an email from a purchaser. Well good news, you've now got a gift card from Rec and your local organization!
To redeem the gift card in the amount noted on the message, look for the 'gift card' section on the checkout screen (shown below in red).
Click to 'Add Gift Card':
Then type your gift card in the pop up box:
If the code is valid, you can apply it to the purchase of items in your cart (you can use up to the maximum amount of the gift card). To check the balance of your gift card, enter the code on any checkout screen and we'll show you the remaining amount. Enjoy!
Scholarship Redemption
If you've received a scholarship from your organization, that's great news! You can redeem a scholarship for any program, facility or merchandise purchase in the checkout screen. To redeem your scholarship, look for the scholarship options in the checkout window.
Check the box, then we'll automatically redeem the scholarship, up to the maximum amount of the purchase (and of the amount remaining in your scholarship).
To check the remaining balance available on any scholarships you might have, head to your Rec profile, located at: https://www.rec.us/app/profile. Then, look for the Scholarships section, shown below:
