Unlike booking a full sequence of classes, reserving a multi-week course or purchasing a membership, some locations offer 'instant booking'--quick slots for reserving courts, picnic tables, etc.
Booking A Court
To see if an item is set up for instant booking, look for the time slot availability indicators below some locations, like the tennis instant book slots shown below:
Select the time slot you'd like to reserve, then make a few quick selections--choose the amount of time (duration), select your household participant, and choose an available court. You'll see the applicable hourly court rate (if there is a fee), then click 'Book' to continue the reservation process.
Entering a new Payment Method or Using a Saved One
If you haven't yet reserved a court through Rec, you can enter a new payment method (credit card or debit card) securely through our system or pay through Google Pay (securely processed via 256-bit encryption via Stripe).
Once you've entered a card and completed the checkout, we'll conveniently save your card in our secure vault for the next time you complete a court reservation.
Activation/Verification Code
In order to verify and validate your phone number, we'll send you a verification code via SMS. Note that with some providers, this code may take longer than normal to arrive--we send it out immediately, but it might not arrive until later depending on network congestion, your service provider, etc. Please contact your mobile service provider if this is happening!
Once you receive the SMS verification code, enter it on this screen--if they match, you're good to proceed and confirm your reservation--don't forget to click the 'Confirm' button to finalize your court booking and lock in your reservation!
Once confirmed, you'll get an email letting you know you're booked and reserved.
