If you're cancelling a booking or reservation and want a refund, Rec and your city partner make it easy.

First, check the policy for your particular city to determine their specific refund process (you should see a link to the specific policies on your booking receipt or confirmation email you received when first booking). Typically, there's a requirement to cancel/request a refund a specific number of days before a class or reservation in order to receive a refund. Also, some cities have a weather policy allowing a refund for extreme weather events. Refunds may differ based on specific scenarios: for instance, if a class is canceled by the coach and is not rescheduled in a timely manner, a refund will be issued as account credit. For user-canceled classes, refunds may be subject to administrative fees and policies, which you can clarify by contacting Rec support.

Then, once you've confirmed the refund policy for you specific city, reach out to them to request a refund via your Rec account. Or, you can contact our support team directly at support@rec.us and if the policy allows a refund, we're happy to process it for you.

In most cases, if your refund request is within policy, your refund can be processed back to your account as credit for no fee, or a refund back to your method of payment (minus a small transaction fee charged by the payment processor). Certain cancellations may also incur defined administrative fees as per Rec platform policies. These fees, if applicable, will be deducted from the refund amount.

After your refund is processed, it typically takes between 3-5 business days to appear back on your card (the banks, not us!), so we appreciate your patience as your funds are returned back to you. If you believe your refund was not processed correctly or requires further review, please navigate to the Help section in your Rec account to contact support for assistance.

Best,

-Rec Support
