With Rec, we make it easy to secure the safety of your family members through the use of emergency contacts and authorized pickups.
Emergency Contacts:
You can create and set up people to be the emergency contacts for your household members. An emergency does NOT need to be an existing member of your household, but can be.
Emergency contacts live in the personal details section for each household member. To set them up, select the household member from your account navigation, then open their personal details.
Near the bottom, click 'Add'.
You'll have an option to select from an existing household profile to be an emergency contact (think Mom is the emergency contact for a child), or create a new emergency contact user without a Rec account). Creating a new emergency contact is easy, they don't need a Rec account and exist only as an emergency contact (and can be assigned as an emergency contact for other household members).
Once you've created your emergency contact, click 'Save', then you'll see that emergency contact listed on your household member's profile. We'll also pass this information along in class and participant rosters to staff at organizations you book with. Some organizations now require emergency contacts to be completed before a court or facility booking can be checked out, so filling them in ahead of time keeps your booking from being blocked at checkout.
