Trouble logging in?

If you’re having difficulty accessing your account, try the steps below to resolve the issue.

  1. Check your email address
Make sure you are using the same email address you used when creating your account. Carefully check for spelling mistakes or extra spaces.

  2. Confirm Your Password is correct

Sometimes your browser might save an old password. Double-check to make sure the password is right.

  3. Select “Log In”
Choose the Log In option from the website navigation to open the sign-in page.

Forgot your password?

If you don’t remember your password, select Log in with your email to start the password recovery process.

Log In With Your Email

Then, enter the email address associated with your Rec account.

Enter Your Email Address

An email will be sent to the email address associated with your account. The email includes a secure link that lets you sign in without a password and regain access to your Rec account.

No email address on your account?

Some accounts are created without an email address—for example when staff set up an account using a mobile phone number instead. If your account has no email address on file, Rec can send account completion and create password links by SMS to the phone number on your account, so you can set a password and sign in that way.

If you aren't receiving anything by email, check with your local parks and recreation department that the mobile number on your account is correct and up to date.

If your link has expired

Sign-in and account setup links don't last forever. If you open one after it has expired, the page now shows a clear message telling you the link is no longer valid, along with an option to request a new one right there—so you can send yourself a fresh link instead of contacting anyone.

Reset Your Password After Logging In

After you sign in using the secure link, you should go to your Rec profile, located at: https://www.rec.us/app/profile, where you can change your password.

In the redesigned profile—now available to all customers—password reset lives in the personal details section of your profile. That section holds separate edit flows for your contact information, birthday, gender, password reset and emergency contacts, so open personal details and choose the password reset option there.

If you are not automatically directed to your profile, open your Profile page from the account navigation to update your password.

Create a secure password

Choose a password that is both strong and easy for you to remember. A strong password helps protect your account from unauthorized access.

Additional tips

  • Check your spam or junk folder
If you do not see the password reset email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. Email messages can sometimes be filtered automatically.

  • Still need help?
If you have trouble resetting your password or no longer have access to the email address linked to your account, reach out to your local parks and recreation department directly. They can assist you in regaining access as quickly as possible.
