Apex and Rec - Setting Up Your New Account (Adding your Household Members)

Welcome back! Now that you've created your new Rec & Apex account, it's time to set up your household account. If you've come from the welcome invitation, you might already have your account and all household members set up. But sometimes there might be a missing household member, or someone's moved out and you need to make an adjustment. Let's dive into how to add members to your household.

Step 1: Head to your Rec Profile

To get started adding new household members, head to your Rec profile, located at: https://www.rec.us/app/profile

From there, click into the 'All Members' section, and then 'Add Household Member'.

Step 2: Add Your Household Member

Complete as much information as you have about your household member, including name, birthdate, gender (important for registering for programs that might have age or gender eligibility restrictions).

If the household member has their own email address and/or phone number, make sure to enter it so they receive their own email and/or SMS notifications for program registrations. If they are under 18, then you can skip the email and phone section, and you'll receive notifications on your email and phone number for their registrations.

When you're done, click to create their profile. Continue for as many other household members as you have on your account. Then, when you want to register a user for a program, court or facility reservation, you'll be able to choose any of the members on your household account.

Step 3: Editing Household Profiles

If you've already created a household profile and need to edit some basic information, head back to your Rec profile at: https://www.rec.us/app/profile/edit

Then, scroll to the bottom and click to edit the existing household account.

You'll be able to edit some basic information, but if there's something else you need edited, just reach out to our support team and we can help.

If you need to delete or remove a household account (kids move out eventually!) just reach out to our support team.
