What payment methods are accepted on the Rec platform?
Rec uses secure payment providers, including Stripe, to process payments. You can pay using several methods, such as:
Credit cards
Debit cards
Apple Pay
Google Pay
And depending on the options provided by your partner organization, you can possibly pay with a check or cash in person (but not online).
These options help ensure a quick and convenient checkout experience.
Is my payment information secure when using Rec?
Yes. Your payment information is protected using industry-standard security practices. Payments are processed through Stripe, a trusted payment provider known for strong security measures.
Rec does NOT store your full payment details and prioritizes the protection of your personal and financial information.
What should I do if I have an issue with a payment or refund?
If you experience a problem with a payment or refund, our support team is available to help.
Please contact support, and we will work with you to review the issue and provide a timely resolution.
We hope these questions help explain our payment and refund process. If you need additional assistance or have other questions, our support team is ready to help.
How to Edit or Change your Payment Methods
If you want to switch the payment method you have on file with Rec, visit your Rec profile at the following link: https://www.rec.us/app/profile/edit
Then scroll down and locate the section called 'Payment Methods'.
To add a new payment method, or delete an expired or old card, click into 'Manage', and then add a new card or remove an old one by clicking the "X".
To set a new default card, click on an alternate card and you'll see the word "Default" switch to the new card, easy!
Quick note: Changing the default payment method does NOT automatically update the payment method on any auto-renewing memberships. To update a payment method for an auto-renewing membership, head to the specific membership in your Rec account and update the default payment method there. Check out the help article on memberships and how to update payment methods.
