How do I cancel or modify my reservation?

Managing your reservations, including canceling or modifying bookings, is a straightforward process. Here's what you need to know:

Accessing Your Reservations:

  • Profile Management: At any time, you can manage your reservations directly from your Rec user profile. Click 'Reservations', then navigate to the section where past and upcoming reservations are listed.

  • Or, you can click the 'Manage Booking' button at the bottom of all your booking confirmation emails from Rec.

  • Cancellation Option: For upcoming reservations, you'll have the option to cancel the booking if needed.

Cancellation Process:

  • Refund Policy: When you cancel a reservation, the refund process is determined by the policy of the Parks and Recreation department managing the court and location. There may also be a refund transaction charge, as processing purchases and refunds incurs a transaction fee by our payment processor.

  • Confirmation Email: After canceling a reservation, you will receive an email confirming that the cancellation has been completed.

  • Refund Processing: If you qualify for a refund and the organization you booked with permits automatic refunds, you can expect to see the refund appear on your original form of payment within 3-5 days after processing.

  • Contacting the Organization: In some cases, the organization you booked with may require you to contact them directly to issue a refund or receive a credit. If you're unsure about the refund process, refer back to the cancellation and refund policy outlined in your booking confirmation.

To cancel the booking, look for and click the 'Cancel Reservation' button:

Confirm that you agree to the terms of the cancellation policy (this determines if you're eligible for a refund or account credit, depending on the organization):

Your reservation will switch to cancelled and you'll receive an email of the cancellation for your records.

Modifying Reservations:

  • Changes to Reservations: If you need to modify a reservation, such as changing the date or time of your booking, right now you must cancel your existing booking and create a new reservation
